Reentry Information Letter from Mrs. Thompson
March 25, 2021
Dear Stallion Families,
As we come to the end of 3rd quarter I want to thank you for your support of F.L. Schlagle High School. This year has been challenging for all of us due to the pandemic. With all of the changes I want you to know that Schlagle administration has been busy preparing for students return March 31st.
We are busy prepping classrooms so that all students and teachers are safe. The cafeteria is prepared to abide by social distancing guidelines and the hallways are marked and ready with one way and one side travel. It has been a huge undertaking, but we have taken great care to make sure that your students and all staff members will be safe while in the building.
There is so much going on regarding school and returning safely to in person learning.
The linked information will help you navigate the changes:
Procedures for Students in Schools During a Pandemic (PDF)
Schlagle Back to School 10 things (PDF)
Wyandotte County Schools and Covid-19 information (PDF)

For those students who will continuing with remote learning the expectation is all students follow the bell schedule. Classes will begin prompted at 7:25 and all students, remote and in person, are expected to be engaged in learning for the entirety of each class.
We look forward to continuing our work with you and your student. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We are always happy to assist in any way we can.
