In-Person vs. Remote Learning…

KCKPS Wants to Hear from You On Tuesday, February 23rd, the Kansas City, Kansas School Board voted to bring all students back for in-person learning starting on Monday, April 5th.  You may remember, back in November the district asked all parents and guardians to make a choice if they wanted their child to go to in-person or remain remote through the school year. State KELPA TESTING This Week! It’s that time of year! All EL students will take the KELPA. This test tells us where you are in learning English. Once you score, “Proficient” you don’t have to take the test again! On your test day, you will come to Schlagle. Wear your mask and bring your Computer. District Will Be On Plan C…

Due to the winter weather advisory forecast for this week, which includes freezing temperatures, KCKPS will transition to remote work, teaching, and learning beginning Tuesday, February 9 through Thursday, February 11. No students should report to school. Curbside pickup and meal delivery will continue during remote learning and District offices will be open for business.
